On the 3rd of july, river valley high school year 2 cohort presented their item in the SYF mass diplay:"torch of friendship".

i cant believe im saying this but,
oh, im gonna miss it.
aesthetics dance and the mass display, i mean.
mr soh was right, it WAS worth it.
looks like 6-7 months of practice didnt go to waste.

And we made it to the newspaper. check it out.
a picture of our mass display was printed on the 4th july "lian he zao bao" page dunno what, at the bottom.
no school name mentioned though but we all know by heart that we took part in the 2010 opening ceremony.

no more bus rides, skipping lessons etc.
this is a memory we'll never forget.

its explorers&connectors week!
hooray, no lessons.

we had CHINESE ART APPRECIATION for the first two days.
sugar painting, mask painting and paper cutting.

omg, my sugar painting phail.
the sugar has something against me! i swear, i just can't get it perfectly off that stone thing. :P
for my sugar art final project, i made a slab of sugar whose main job is for me to lick. lol.

mask painting was fun.
nailing in the nails was like hell.
knocked my fingers 4 times and the nail still didnt go in.
im proud to annouce i hammered one nail in ALL BY MYSELF!
then qiuginj did the others...
moulding was fun.
painting was suckish.
i gave up on it.

paper cutting was basically making kites.
no comments.

we started on our sports education programme today
SPORTS CHANBARAAAAAA
it was funfunfun.

team buillding was okay.
they had fun games.
oh, but the debate got quite complicated.

okay...first the boring stuff.
we were reading the newspaper today when i read an article on a plane breaking the sound barrier. oooooo.
And i had this theory that popped into my mind:
if time travel was possible, why is it that no other human has popped out of nowhere saying:"HELLL-O. Nice to meet you, we're from the FUTURE" and then they beam those wide, spastic smiles at you.
is it possible that time travel never was invented?
Maybe...maybe not...
my theory is that they come back as what we call "aliens"
possible? maybe. According to Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, we evolved from monkeys. is it possible that we will evolve into those scary green aliens in the future?
interesting huh? i told this to glen and she was like" this world is so amazing" in the glen-ish way. lol :) it's just a random thought of a creative and chio person. HAHAHAH!

anyway, 1Jamboree (weeee) had their IU day today...with all the other year 1 classes of course.
they did....*drrrrumrolls*
SPAIN! *oooo & ahhhh*
they did a great job and i'm proud of them!
it's just such a pity they didn't win.
never mind, its not the winning that counts, its the experience!
plus, you don't get to keep the money anyway.

and refused to get up at the end of the bus trip.

MONDAY
after school, we go to glen's house.
play pool there.

then go play tennis.
nigel brought the laptop DOWN!!
attempt fail cause we dunno how to play.
then go back to glen's house

sorry for late post.
this was supposed to be posted on friday but i was too lazy.

had our mid-autumn celebration.
kinda early though.
it was from 5-8
about 13-14 ppl from our class went. shall not elaborate.

err, we made a lantern first.
u should have seen the mess we created.
there was even glue on the floor. haha

then we played with paper lanterns.
jett and wanlu had a lot of trouble lighting up their lantern.
we walked around the pitch black field.
some peoples lanterns burned.
jett wanted to burn his but his candle burned out first.lol

then went back to hall.

had performance.
karleong was performing as a teacher.
{looks like all those days of imitating lijie finally paid off}
then we ate and ate.

went to batam on 12th september 2009, saturday for one day.
woke up at 5.30 in the morning! *yawns*
then reached harbourfront mrt at 6.15 plus plus. waited for waihong.
then went to cruise center...

then blah blah blah....
vivian fa pi qi at the cruise center...
yaddah yaddah yaddah...

we were on the ferry at about 8 plus.
the ferry was......okay.
the view out back was GREAT and windy.

reached batam at 8 plus(batam's time is 1hr behind s'pore.)
then customs...
then boarded bus
sat with qiu yii {qiu ginj's sis}
then started munching on snacks...

first, we went to a bridge called rainbow bridge.
took pics.
there was these people fishing there.
one guy caught 3 fish.
everyone was fascinated....lol.

then we went to a bakery.
they bake kueh lapis (layered cake)
they actually bake it LAYER BY LAYER!!!
wow.
the smell was great.
they had tea reception for us.
waihong took tea and added lots and lots of condensed milk until it literally became condensed milk.then he didn't drink.
pure coffee tastes awful...
then when we were leaving, reuben busy body and a guy ended up pestering him to buy stuff.

next stop...snack shop.
outside the snackshop, there was this mini stall that sold preserved fruits.
i tried this green round fruit. all i can say is:"yuck!"
i had a hard time eating that.
snack shop was crowded. there was this orange cat there.
most of us was disturbing it from it's sleep.
poor cat...
bought chewing gum.
started to chew.

next stop...temple.
it's the largest in batam. i think.
all i know is that it has large statues.
took pics.
looked around.

then we left.

next stop...LUNCH.
it's at some restaurant called 933 prawn or something.
they served SNAILS!!!!
i ate one and kinda lost my appetite.
gwen ate SEVEN. i think.

bought shirts for about $2plus each.

i bought two notebooks for glen and jett.
gwen bought about 5 stuff for her friends.
then we drank drinks. weird drinks. but nice.
i liked the avocado+chocolate drink. yum.

then we went for dinner.
tastes better.
boys tried to scare us outside the toilet. ATTEMPT F-A-I-L.haha
ate dinner in non-peace.
then left.

left batam for singapore.
ferry was better then the last one.
went out deck for almost the whole trip.
it was dark, windy, dark.

we created a story.

its in order: wanlu, me, qiu ginj, jett. sentence by sentence.

.Once,there was a beef cheese fry.
.He was called Jerry Beef.
.And he stayed in a bunglow with Tom the lion.
.One gloomy monday, the ground shook.
.Tom the lion was scared of falling into the cracks in the ground and tried to balance on Jerry Beef.
.Suddenly, the scarecrow from the wizard of Oz appeared and bit Jerry at his feet.
.Jerry jerked and Tom the lion fell and landed with a sore, red butt and Jerry had sore red feet.

i chose science for CID and i got physics.
that means i will have to see teo tai wei!!!
the only day of the week that i don't have science and i got CID, physics. D:

had this cip project that we VOLUNTEERED for,
unlike the beach cleaning which we were being FORCED to go.

anyway, we had to ask people to donate money.
it's the tin can thing where you put in money and they give you stickers.
but there weren't stickers, donate up to $3 and you get a soft toy bear.

wanlu, jett, nigel, qiu ginj and me were there.
couldn't go in a group of 5 so we split.
me and qiu ginj, one group.
nigel, wanlu and jett, one group.
enjoyed it alot.
but very tiring.

went to wild wild wet.
had so much fun.
but then this happened:

we were playing at the waterworks.
we slid down this slide in a row.
jett didn't get off the slide fast enough and this small boy and his dad banged into jett.
the boy cried.
then the father scold us.
push all the blame to us.
say what jett never move out quick enough and whatever shit crap.
qiu ginj told him he could have checked before he slid down.
he didn,t care.
WTH.he kept scolding and scolding crap.
wasn't really listening.
then he was like:" i want you to apologize to my son!"
but jett was already apologizing lorh!

had to attend softball.
then later went to chalet via mrt/bus with jett and qiu ginj.
had to lug a heavy bag around. D:
we went to harbourfront mrt then took to pasir ris.
the train delayed 2 times due to track fault, terminated halfway 2-3 times, and stopped midway 2 times. we were so pissed.
then we finally reached pasir ris.
took bus 354 to downtown east.
met them at escape theme park.
我们玩得很痛快 :D
loved the viking. sitting at the end rocks.
we got complimentary tickets back in when we left. woohoo.

then we checked in.
book BBQ pit.
had BBQ shopping.
spent $52.60 or something.
the boys started the fire. they take so long!
then we BBQ-ed. so hot.
the food tasted great. best BBQ food i ever tasted!.

then we tried to stay up all night.

it was drizzling and jett arrived late.

we stopped to get korean food to eat.

took monorail to sentosa.

i got the exact same two keychains which i already have. freak.

then went to palawan beach.
made sandcastles with nigel and glen :D (they rock.)

they looked like a couple. awww. lols

went to 7-eleven to eat.

bought cup noodles and slurpee and capsules again.

then we went to dip our legs in water.
there happen to have 3 brothers playing.

then we took tram to beach station.
walk around some more then we go back to vivo.

then someone has to drink it back. sick right?

then went to lot 1 but got no time so we all went home together.

then give out prize. we got 2nd. prize? melted ferrero roche.

i shall not elaborate but i think this is one of the most torture-st games.

okay..had my first proper softball training today. the sun was like hot then not hot. we ran two rounds round the track at a pace deemed suitable by the coach!! omg..so fast i was dead by the second round...we wore th mitt or something today...so stiff!! and it stained my hand rust brown...the coach let us bring the ball and mitt home!! ;D when i went home...sooo tired lorh...already got muscle ache
then at night my bro room got TWO cockroaches appear lorh...i damn creeped out and i abandoned my tv show and went out of the room..

i saw that dead rat today...rueben brought me and wan lu to the swing there!! today the music class soo fun!! we bully the relief teacher. i think Rueben kinda pissed her off!! haha...then the whole class like roaring with laughter. then its like the teacher was spliting us into groups for dunno what music project...then the teacher wanted to take kuan yang away from our group. we were like fighting 4 him!! then the whole class was in chaos!! the boys were like throwing an eraser from one end of the room to the other...in the end we got kuan yang!!! yay!! and i heard from rueben that the boys were playing on that rope swing and they found a dead rat...they poured kikapo over it and buried it...sounds sick. i shall not say the details... :S

hello!! im sooo tired!! today had to run 1.6km!! my timing improved by 5 sec!! rueben came in 16 sec behind me!! hahaz...and i went to vivo (again!!) after sch today with nattie!! we actually like 'pao qi' her friend at the candy empire shop!! muahaha!! but she was waiting for her sis anyway...we went to this shop lah....dunno whats the name!! then got this cool cool lava lamp!! oooohhh...niceeee!!!

hohoho...today last day of year 1 orientation!! sad....:( will miss PSL!!!

1st day: everyone soooo quiet....the RVHS boys choir performed "kiss the girl" for us...they could sing so well... surprising...!!! the dance troupe also put pn a spectacular display!!!

2nd day: everyone starting to get hyper....we played station games!!! sooo much cheering....one of our PSL got sore throat by cheering liao...haha....then we learn school songg and had a mass dance!!! the dance is to the song "sun dance" or something like that....sooo fun although i cant remember the steps...haha

3rd day: we ate breakfast with our PSL today!!! they bought a large sprite and they want us to share with no cup....one person drink and then no one dare drink liao...haha...ohoh and we had our CCA trials-sports today....got shortlisted for volleyball woo hoo (volleyball roxxx) and we had mass dance again...this time is dance to "all for one"

4th day: we had telematch today....i only layed the multi-level captain the largest ball is netball....smallest ball is ping pong ball...the smaller the ball the more points worth....

5th day: we had overnight camp... for the uniform group open house...one group 4rm our class tried to grab as many free stuff as possible....the roasted marshmallow from the girl guides rock!! yum yum!!! then at night we had a campfire!! everyone went extremely high!!!! and it got abit chaotic at one time!!! our class performed "at the beginning" for campfire night...after that we washed up....omg the toilet damn crowded...everyone only aloowed 5 mins to bathe....by the time i come out i still dripping wet!!! then lights out....so hard to sleep...florr so hard...:(

6th day: woke up at 5am just to change today...tired...we had CCA trials-performing arts today...the violin and the drums like so cool!!! oh yeah!!! then went home sleep like pigg!!!
